An absolutely great book! Eleanor has an unusually cruel mother, they keep in touch on the phone, because she is 'away' because of a terrible crime she committed .
Eleanor has no friends and has a very depressing weekly routine as the book begins, but slowly that changes. Her life, that has been meticulously controlled, is either starting to fall apart, or really come together...
There is a romance that doesn't end the usual way it does in books, a cat, a colleague, his mother and a death metal concert. Need I say more?
This book is so well written, sad and funny, it just must be read. You are in for a treat!
