This is the first book I've read by the Nobel Literature Prize winner of 2013, Canadian master of short stories, Alice Munro.
I love them. I love her stories of ordinary people's lives, that sometimes turn into extraordinary events. Amazing, like Richard Ford's and Raymond Carver's stories. A darkness permeates the stories, even when nothing really sinister happens. Life.
Short stories are also a great format for busy full time working mothers who try to get a minute here and there to read.
