She is to watch an 11-year old girl who has stopped eating months ago. Or is said to have stoppet eaten. Is she a wonder? Divine intervention? Or us it all a scam? And why?
The nurse sets out to solve the mystery and goes beyond her mission.
The story is captivating. This poor peasant family have already lost a child. Will they lose another? And do they really care?
Very different novel, sometimes disturbing and so worth a read!
