NY BLOGG= NEW BLOGG; all about books!!

Hey!

I complain about how little time I have to update the Scrambler-Minnimoo blogg and yet I go and start a new one....am I just dumb or what's up?

Well, I've been thinking about this for quite some time now. This is a book-blog!

This new year 2012 will be all about putting my energy where it really matters. To do what I enjoy with intention, to keep energetic, happy and healthy and then do what I do better and more sustainably.

My job is ok, but I go there to earn money, not cause it's my calling. It takes up way too much time.
The rest of my time my number one priority is all about my family.
But I've always been a person with interests that engage me and that make me happy, and if I don't prioritize these things at all, even if the time during these hectic child-rearing years is very limited, I become a less good mom, wife and human being.

So I wanna climb, spend time in nature, draw and READ!

BOOKS EQUAL JOY!

Both for me, C and our kids, books are very important. Important to life. We read every day. More and more often we only turn on the tv for the news, some children's shows, skiing, baseball, a weekly bok-show and the rest of the time we read.

We take turn putting the kids to bed and before they fall asleep C or I read 1-4 books to them. They love it and we do too!

When they're sleeping we go to bed with a book each that we can discuss, laugh about and take turns reading.

Books are the perfect gift, a way to stay connected to both our mother tongues and pure relaxation. And also a great way to stay in touch with busy friends and family, close and far away. I have a couple of amazing friends; T and L who send us wonderful books, as well as some family.
Books are matters of the heart.
So this is my new book blog. I will post a new post every time I finish a book, or wanna tell you about a children's book we like and work out some categories after a while. The post will be in whatever language that I've read the book in, so probably no more than English and Swedish. (My school-Russian and French are very dusty.)

If you've found your way here, I do hope you enjoy!

And please, my ideal dream about this blog is that it becomes a living forum where we can discuss reading, books and translations, I'd love recommendations and will keep the commentary function open.

Pleasant reading!
